Using variables

Variables allow you to incorporate dynamic information into a WhatsApp template.

Instead of always using the same text, you can use a variable to include specific information in each message.

For example, a template can include personalized information for the customer instead of using generic text.

Where can they be used?

Variables are part of the template content configuration and can be used within the message according to the options available in WitAsk.

How do you use a variable?

1. Open the template you are creating or editing.
2. Locate the content where you want to incorporate dynamic information.
3. Select the option to add a variable.
4. Configure the information that should be used to complete that variable.
5. Review the result in the preview.
6. Save the template.

Review variables before sending

Before submitting a template for approval, verify that the variables are configured correctly and that the message makes sense even when they are replaced with dynamic information.

The preview allows you to review the result of the message before sending it.
